On April 15th, 2009 hundreds of thousands of Americans said enough is enough and decided it was time to take a stand and show the politicians and lawmakers across this country that Americans want a constitutional government with limited powers, the same type that was established by our founding fathers. Not this constitutionally perverted growing federal government with far and overreaching powers that did not come from the US Constitution. In St. Paul between 8,000 and 10,000 (or a few hundred, according to the Star Tribune, what a joke for a newspaper) Minnesotans showed up and thousands more at other teap parties across Minnesota. The Minnesota College Republicans showed up at tea parties in Duluth, Winona, Mankato, and St. Paul representing over 15 chapters at different colleges across Minnesota. |
